2020 REGATTA PROGRAMME
Two days of racing with five races run by the ISC. Skipper’s briefing each morning. Friday and Saturday Pontoon parties, for networking and meeting the crews and welcoming the newcomers. Apres-sailing hospitality, cocktails at marina bar, DJ & sounds on-shore and with delicious hearty crew suppers provided each evening. Winners trophy presentations on Saturday.

2019 REGATTA PROGRAMME – last year’s programme
All times provided are provisional and will be confirmed nearer the event.
THURSDAY 12th SEPTEMBER 2019/ PRE-REGATTA DAY
– Early boats arrive at Shephards Wharf Marina, and berthing is reserved as part of the Entry Fee.
– The marina bar is not open on Thursday. It opens on Friday.
– All crews are invited for drinks at the Island Sailing Club – 70 High Street, Cowes
– The club warmly welcomes Little Britain crews to their bar and restaurant
– You can book a table for supper in advance.
– The views from the clubhouse and balcony are fabulous.
From 1700h – Register early with the Regatta Team at the Sugar Store in Shephards Wharf and collect your registration pack .
NB- Thursday practice races will not be organised this year.
FRIDAY 13th SEPTEMBER 2019 – DAY ONE – REGATTA OPENS
07:30 Regatta office opens for registration.
The Regatta office is located in the marina.
Register before taking part and collect your registration pack which includes bow stickers, race chart, entry-pass wristbands, meal tickets and regatta battle flag.
Bow stickers must be applied before the start of Race 1
09:00 Skippers’ briefing in The Sugar Store by Principal Race Officer of the Island Sailing Club and Rob Klaschka, LBCC Race Director.
10:55 Race 1 first warning signal for racing AND cruising classes.
Race 2 to start as soon as possible after Race 1. Lunch onboard.
Onshore teams are invited to use the Island Sailing Club facilities. Regatta Entry passes will allow you in.
After Racing – The regatta bar opens.
16:00 Introductory pontoon crew party sponsored by ASITE.
19:00 Welcome drinks and winners announcement for Races 1 & 2 to take place in The Sugar Store.
19:30 – 21:30 Friday Delicious Crew Supper – ticket only. Dress code: Crew clothing / informal.
21:30 – 00:00 Live music and dancing until midnight.
00.30 Bar closes
SATURDAY 14TH – DAY TWO
07:30 Regatta office opens. Complimentary bacon bap breakfast with teas and coffee available.
08:00 Skippers’ briefing in The Sugar Store by Principal Race Officer of the Island Sailing Club and Rob Klaschka, LBCC Race Director.
09:25 First warning signal for race 3. Race 4 to start as soon as possible after race 3. Lunch on board.
Race 5 to start as soon as possible after race 4.
After racing The regatta bar opens.
16:00 Networking Pontoon Party sponsored by DIFFUSION
19:00 Trophy presentations of the Little Britain Challenge Cup winner and class winners,
plus winners announced for races 3, 4, & 5.
19:30 – 21:30 Saturday crew feast – ticket only. Dress code: Informal. Last servings 21:30.
21:30 Live music, DJ, and dancing.
00:30 Bar closes.
All crews invited to depart from marina before 12noon, or book and extend your stay with the marina.
