The 2025 Regatta Programme
This year we have another fun packed programme of events on and off the water during the regatta.
We’ve made some changes to the event this year moving back to the Cowes Yacht Haven and hosting all of our shoreside fun, networking, prize giving and a crew dinner at the Island Sailing Club so please take the time to read this years programme.

Thursday 11th September, pre-regatta day
Many of our entrants choose to spend the day before the regatta practicing the tacking in spinnaker drill in the Solent before arriving at Cowes.
From 1400 Boats arrive at Cowes Yacht Haven. As you approach make contact on VHF channel 80 or 01983 299975. The marina docking master will allocate berthing positions.
1730-1930 Early registration and collection of your teams entry pack at the Island Sailing Club.Meet the committee and enjoy a drink in the ISC bar with its large outside terrace with stunning views over the Solent.
The Island Sailing Club warmly welcomes Little Britain crews to their bar and restaurant, booking the restaurant is recommended for Thursday night.
Later, meet up on the High Street pub trail via the Fountain Inn, Pier View, the Anchor, on route back to Cowes Yacht Haven, your accommodation or restaurant.
Friday 12th September, race day one (2 planned races)
0800 Final registration and collection of your team’s entry pack from Queen Galadriel in Cowes Yacht Haven for boats that have not already registered.0900 Skippers’ briefing by the Principal Race Officer, and Ollie Thomas, LBCC Race Director from Queen Gala.
1055 Race 1 first warning signal for racing and cruiser classes with other races following as soon as possible afterwards.
During racing, onshore teams are invited to use the Island Sailing Club facilities during the day. There is an excellent viewing platform. LBCC wrist bands will allow entry.1600-1900 Day prizes and networking drinks at Island Sailing Club. Meet up with fellow crews and industry professionals.
2000 Crew dinner at Island Sailing Club places limited to 200 places on a first come first served basis.
All other crews and entries are to make their own dinner arrangements for Friday evening.
Post supper networking opportunities in the Anchor Inn, Vectis Tavern, Pier View and the Fountain Inn. There is a live band at the Anchor till late.
Saturday 13th September, race day two (3 planned races)
0925 Race 3 first warning signal for racing and cruiser classes with other races following as soon as possible afterwards.
During racing, onshore teams are invited to use the Island Sailing Club facilities during the day. There is an excellent viewing platform. LBCC wrist bands will allow entry.1600-1830 Après-sail networking drinks at Island Sailing Club. Meet up with fellow crews and industry professionals and join us
1830-1900 prize giving and awards to the Little Britain Challenge Cup 2024 winner, class winners, the greenest boat trophy and the Women racing boat trophy.
2000 VIP drinks and dinner at the Royal Yacht Squadron – Limited spaces for racing crews only. Book online before the event.
All crews and entries are to make their own supper arrangements for Saturday evening.

Sunday 14th September, homeward bound
Boats depart from Cowes Yacht Haven by 1200. If you wish to stay longer you must extend your stay by making enquiries at the marina office.
