Who comes to LBCC?

The Little Britain Challenge Cup regatta has always been a broad church with entrants across the spectrum of companies working in property and construction. We have teams from developers, tier 1 contractors, architects, engineers and project managers alongside specialist constultants, specialist subocntractors and suppliers.

Each team has its own approach to why they enter which shapes their plans, buy there are a seies of common approaches that may help you navigate how your own team comes together.

– Client entertainment is at the heart of many entries. We hear again and again that relationships that have started on the race course go on to last for years.

– Employee development is also a common reason for a boat to come together, including team building and employee rewards.

– The project boat is another format that seems to work year after year, with teams who are working on a complex project together forming a team to race and have fun.
