On Saturday night at Shephards Wharf, LBCC will be enjoying a pontoon party sponsored by construction industry networking group Chicks With Bricks, KDH Associates and The London Sporting Club. As a special guest, Tracey Edwards MBE will be joining the party. In 1989 Tracey skippered a 58ft Maxi called ‘Maiden’ with the first all-female crew in the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race. Through her not for profit organisation, The Maiden Project, Tracey is now restoring the famous yacht for a new and inspiring mission raising awareness for women’s education in developing countries.
Tracey will be joined by Ian Staffs, Chairman of The London Sporting Club, for Q&A on Saturday 16th September at 16:30 on the pontoon.
