Little Britain Challenge Cup – One Day Spring Regatta, 15 May 2020
We are delighted to announce the launch of the first-ever LBCC One-Day Spring Regatta on Friday 15th May 2020, taking place ahead of the main regatta in September.
This unique construction industry networking event offers the perfect opportunity to get the whole team together and enjoy a day of competitive sailing against industry peers. It is not to be missed.
Itinerary
Thursday 14th May
– pre-regatta social and industry network.
6pm – Regatta desk opens in Sunsail office, Port Solent Marina
7pm – Yachts available for boarding
8pm – Dinner starts, regatta welcome address
Fundraising activities post dinner, networking, bar
Yachts available for accommodation
Friday 15th May
– Race day
7.45am – Skipper’s briefing
8am – Bacon butty breakfast
8.30am – Board yachts
9am – Slip lines by 9am at the latest for practice time
11.10am – 5 min warning for Race 1. Race 2 & 3 follow
45 min races, 1 hour cycle:
11.15am , lunch, 12.30pm, 1.30pm
Last boat finished by 2.45pm
3.15pm – 3.30pm – Yachts to be back on pontoon
3.45pm – Prize-giving by pontoons
4pm – Event finishes

In 2020, Sunsail, our regatta partner, welcomes 15 new Jeanneau racing yachts to its UK fleet which will be used
for this event. The brand new Sunsail 41.0 is a cutting edge Performance Cruiser-Racer that combines incredible sailing performance with a revolutionary deck and interior design that is unparalleled in the sailing market.
Packages
We have developed two charter packages that offer excellent value for money. Both include breakfast, lunch and soft drinks. Staying overnight on the yachts the night before is included. Optional evening meal tickets are £25 each.
Bareboat price @ £1,095 + VAT
[ten persons max. on-board incl. skipper, approx £109.5 per person]
Skippered price @ £1,495 + VAT
Charity donation per yacht: £500
