The programme guide is below.

NextGen Little Britain is a series of races organised by the Island Sailing Club on their 23ft International Sonars. It will be the 2nd edition of Next Gen Little Britain and it supports the property and construction industry’s Next Generation community. This event is organised by the Little Britain Challenge Cup committee in partnership with the Island Sailing Club.

International Sonars are a one-design 7-metre keel boat designed in 1979 by Bruce Kirby – the designer of the famous Laser dinghy. With its large cockpit, Bermudian rig with large main and jib, Sonars are fast and exciting to sail and ideal for both beginners and experienced racers.

To appeal to the Next-Gen sailor,  NextGen Little Britain will be a white-sails only series. A maximum of four persons and a minimum of three are required to race in each of the Sonars, however, an eligible qualified skipper is required within the team for safety reasons. The skipper can be provided by the ISC, should you request.

Next Gen Little Britain is age restricted.

This is due to the spirit and purpose of the concept.  Crews must be from the property and construction industry, must be under the age of 40 with the exception of the nominated skipper who can be any age and from any industry.

NEXTGEN LITTLE BRITAIN SAILING –  is low cost, it’s for one day, it’s in Cowes (the mecca of sailing), it’s easy to organise a team, we get to sail Island Sailing Club’s 21ft Sonars, it’s great for team building & client relations, you get to network with industry friends during the Little Britain Challenge Cup at the famous Island Sailing Club bar and balcony with the view.
