Little Britain Challenge offers an excellent opportunity for widening your company’s network

Did you know that last year many of the top 20 main contractors, designers and engineers attended the event? We are all working in an increasingly challenging environment and taking a full boat is too much for some companies in the current climate.

This year we’ve introduced LBCC Network boats, these boats allow individuals or small groups from a company who can’t muster a full entry to put their names into a pool of people who would like to be matched with other industry sailors. For a bareboat of 8 people (you’ll need several experienced sailors to do this) it is a very economic way to enter. Join a boat by yourself, with a colleague or bring a client with you.

Cost Breakdown

Both of these options sail from Thursday evening, joining the boat in Port Solent and returning on Sunday.

Option 1 – Sunsail F40 Bareboat – Racing in Sunsail F40 Class

• From £399 per person – from Thursday evening to Sunday morning
  Requires eight crew.

And includes:

• Event entry fee – for a Sunsail F40 size boat, standard entry = £995+VAT
• Sunsail F40 bareboat charter = £1,692.50+VAT
• Meal tickets for Friday and Saturday @ £25 each, x8 totals = £400+VAT
• Includes 8x LBCC Network Boat crew shirts
• Total £3,192.00+VAT or £399+VAT/head for a crew of 8 if you all sleep aboard*.

Option 2 – Skippered Sunsail F40 – Racing in Sunsail F40 Class

• From £799 per person – from Thursday evening to Sunday morning
  Requires six crew.
• Includes:
• Event entry for a Sunsail F40 size boat, standard entry = £995+VAT
• Sunsail F40 charter with skipper and mate =- £3,135.00+VAT
• Meal tickets for Friday and Saturday crew suppers @ £25 each, x6 totals =  £600+VAT
• Includes 6x LBCC Network Boat crew shirts
• Total £4,794.00+VAT or £799+VAT/head for a crew of 6 though there are only 4 spare sleeping places onboard so two will need to want to stay on shore*.

* Staying aboard isn’t everyone’s cup of but staying in a B&B in Cowes can cost as little as £300 from Thursday night through to Sunday morning.
